Are you a full-stack developer and enthusiastic about using your skills, knowledge and ideas to make a positive impact? Are you looking for a unique experience which bridges the physical and digital world?

Our Digital Product team is growing as we scale our textile creation platform—empowering anyone to design textiles, and run their own conscious production. We're looking for a full-stack developer who is passionate about building high-quality digital experiences and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

In this role, you'll spend the majority of your time actively contributing to the codebase—working across both the frontend and backend to bring our product vision to life. You’ll collaborate closely with a product designer, a creative technologist and a developer to shape features from concept to delivery.

About the team

  • Be part of a close-knit and international team (~25 people) based in Amsterdam

  • Work across disciplines—from textile experts to operations to the marketing team.

  • As a full-stack Developer, you will be a part of our Digital Product team, working closely with another full-stack developer, a creative technologist and a digital product designer.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that supports a seamless user experience

  • Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and code reviews to help drive high-quality delivery

  • Work side-by-side with the team—as a hands-on contributor who takes ownership

  • Help evolve the product by offering technical insights and suggesting improvements within the existing product vision

  • Document technical decisions and implementation details to support team alignment and maintain knowledge continuity

Skills & Experience

What we're looking for in the ideal candidate. Not all of these are must haves, so please take the leap to get in touch even if you don't feel you meet all criteria.

  • 3+ years work experience developing full-stack digital products

  • Familiarity with our stack or similar technologies:

    • Proficient in JavaScript, and experience with Vue.js or a similar framework

    • Experience with Node.js; familiarity with TypeScript is a plus

  • Good eye for detail and design implementation

  • Proficient in English (our studio language)

  • Based in the Netherlands and able to join us in our Amsterdam studio a few times per week (hybrid setup)

Bonus if you have:

About BYBORRE

There is nothing in life that we use more than textiles. Among the oldest and most universal objects produced by humans, textiles have proven to be a reliable tool that enhances our lives and brings across stories. Their influence goes beyond imagination. And yet, the journey that leads to a textile’s existence often remains unquestioned.

At BYBORRE, we are on a mission to drastically change the textile industry as we know it today. Envisioning a future where textiles are made with conscious intent, we merge the physical and digital worlds of textile creation, unlock material innovation and establish a transparent supply chain to give our customers worldwide access to responsible textiles for the products we use everyday.

Based in Amsterdam we have our own knitting lab with a range of circular knitting machines and an extensive yarn library. We experiment and innovate to create the most responsible knits of the highest quality.

We offer a collection of responsible textiles to our customers, with the opportunity to create custom textile. Our primary focus lies within the interior and apparel segments. Primarily, we direct our efforts towards brands, architects, project developers, designers and the end consumer. We offer our products and aim to raise awareness about the state of the textile industry by emphasizing how (our) responsible textiles can be a game changer.

By exploring new textile design and manufacturing processes that are less wasteful, harmful, inflexible and more collaborative, open and inspiring, we are creating a movement that challenges the conventional norms of the industry – encouraging you to think differently about textiles and inviting you to be part of something bigger.

Textile innovation studio, mastering knit.
